Zee TV’s Jagadhatri has managed to impress viewers with its unique storyline, making it one of the most loved fiction offerings on television today. Adding another feather to its cap, the show has now successfully completed 200 episodes, while also performing well on the TRP charts with decent numbers. The show revolves around Jagadhatri (played by Sonakshi Batra), a simple and innocent woman at home who is often mistreated and underestimated by her family, especially by her mother and now, mother-in-law.

What has truly connected with the audience is the layered personality and dual life of Jagadhatri. While she quietly handles all the household responsibilities at home, outside she is a fearless and intelligent officer who brilliantly solves complicated cases with confidence and courage. Viewers, especially women, have been able to deeply relate to her journey and emotional conflicts, as many women often go through situations where they are undervalued at home despite being strong, capable, and confident in their professional lives. This powerful contrast in Jagadhatri’s character along with the fresh storytelling has struck a chord with audiences across the country, earning the show immense love and appreciation.
Expressing their happiness and gratitude as the show completed 200 episodes, lead actors Sonakshi Batra and Farman Haider shared their feelings on this special milestone.
Sonakshi Batra who plays the titular role of Jagadhatri said , “Completing 200 episodes of Jagadhatri is another beautiful milestone achieved by the entire team, and what feels truly special is that the enthusiasm on our set is still exactly the same as it was on the very first day of the shoot. I think a huge credit for that goes to our team leaders, our directors, producers, the channel’s creative team for their constant support, vision, dedication, and positivity. Along with them, every artist and every member of the technical staff, makeup hair artists to spot dadas works with complete passion and teamwork to make this show what it is today. Our writers are doing a magnificent job with the twists and turns in the storyline and the crisp, impactful dialogues that keep the audience engaged and emotionally connected. But the real tonic, the real energy that keeps us going every single day, is the continuous love, blessings, and support we receive from our audience. Your appreciation motivates us to give our best every day. Personally, I have been enjoying playing Jagadhatri from day one. Playing Jagadhatri has taught me strength in silence, courage in difficult moments, and the power of standing tall even when life tests you. The positive vibe and energy on the set make every day of shooting memorable and exciting. As a team, we treat this show like a challenge, we compete with nobody else but ourselves. That is why we constantly try to improve, evolve, and do better with every episode as part of a continuous process of growth. I see the number 200 growing all the way to 2000, that’s what I am manifesting with all my heart. I only hope to continue growing as an actor while the number of episodes keeps increasing with the same love and support from the audience. Thank you for making us a part of your lives and homes. Keep watching Jagadhatri!”
Farman Haider who plays the role of Shivaay said , “Honestly, Jagadhatri has been one of the most memorable journeys of my career so far. I have worked on different shows over the years, but there is something very special and different about this one and especially about Shivaay as a character. What I love the most about him is the positivity he carries within himself. No matter what situations arise, Shivaay always chooses goodness, calmness, and hope, and somewhere that energy has started reflecting in me personally as well. Playing him has not only been enjoyable as an actor but has also taught me a lot emotionally. Reaching 200 episodes feels amazing, and I feel truly grateful for the unconditional love the audience has given us throughout this journey. Their support is what keeps us motivated every single day, and I just hope Jagadhatri continues touching hearts and achieving many more milestones in the years to come.”
In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness an intense drama as Jagadhatri and Shivaay begin investigating the new drug dealing case. Rudra (Ayush Shrivastava) is the mastermind behind the illegal business and is using Tapasya for the same. Jagadhatri’s team spots Tapasya (Yesha Harsora) at the location and identifies her as the new drug dealer. However, Jagadhatri knows that Rudra is the real culprit and not Tapasya. She must now solve the case carefully and gather solid proof against Rudra in order to expose and catch him.
