Dangal TV is undoubtedly aiming for something out-of-the-box with its upcoming show, Dilwaali Dulha Le Jayegi (DDLJ the TV way), produced by Gaurav Prem Srivastav of S3 Info Media.The story revolves around the protagonist, Sukoon (played by Sanchita Ugale), who is determined to find and hold onto her love-cum-life partner, adding intrigue and depth to the narrative. She embodies a blend of small-town charm and modern sensibilities.Sukoon is on a quest to find her “dulha,” whom she hasn’t seen since she was a toddler. Her character is reminiscent of Geet from Jab We Met—talkative, chirpy, confident, and ready to face whatever life throws at her. Her support system is the search engine “Juggal,” who plays a pivotal role in her journey, almost like a real-life “Hey Google.”During her quest, Sukoon meets Kartik (played by Sorab Bedi), who is her complete opposite. Destiny keeps bringing them together, only to separate them once again.This is a love story of two youngsters who were married to each other in childhood but have no memory of it.
