COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ puts friendship to the test as besties Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani face off this weekend

On COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, settling scores comes with a big twist! As the competition intensifies, blockbuster director and host Rohit Shetty is turning the contestants’ past equations on their head by pairing them with those they have lost the most stunts against. This weekend, the stunt arena becomes particularly personal as some of the contestants find themselves pitted against familiar faces. Among the most intriguing match-ups is that of best friends Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani, who have shared years of friendship and have also found themselves on Khatron Ke Khiladi together more than once. But this time, their equation gets a competitive twist as the two face each other as opponents. And the irony doesn’t end there. While they will lock horns as competitors, Karan and Rithvik will also be seen teaming up for another stunt.

Speaking about facing off his best friend in the stunt arena, Rithvik Dhanjani says, “Facing off against Wahi in the arena was completely insane. He is my brother – my family. We’ve lived through many highs and lows together, we’ve shared the same stages, and we’ve evolved together over the years. So our bond is practically hardwired into how we live our lives. But the second we stand opposite each other at the start line, that history turns becomes a double-edged sword. I know exactly how his mind ticks. I know his peaks, his lethal strengths, and precisely where he might catch his breath or hesitate. And likewise, he knows me too well. We both want the best for each other and we both want to give our best to the show. That’s the real beauty of competing against Wahi. When a friendship runs as deep as ours, a competition like this just unlocks a whole new dimension of who we are. That is the absolute joy of doing this journey together – we push each other to the absolute limit, test what we’re made of, and then immediately backslap each other and laugh after what seems like looking at death in the eye.”
